Our Policies
Payment Options
For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders and most major credit cards. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office. We also offer no-interest financing through our office and the CareCredit® finance system.
Insurance
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs. Our staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that your insurance coverage is customized to your specific employer and the contract they have arranged with your insurance carrier. Our staff will gladly, upon request, submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.
Our Financial Policy
We realize every person's financial situation is different. We have worked hard to provide a variety of payment options to help you receive the quality dental care needed to enjoy a healthy and confident smile.
All fees should be paid at or before the time of treatment. If you have insurance, we will be happy to assist you in processing your claims. We will accept insurance benefits assigned to us, but ask that you pay your portion at the time of treatment. For longer term financing, we offer several different options; please contact the office for more information.
Dental insurance is a great benefit. We will do everything possible to help you receive the full benefits of your policy. However we are only able to estimate your co-pays. Regardless of what is estimated, we must stress that the insurance agreement is between you, the patient, and your insurance company. You are ultimately responsible for the total treatment fee should your insurance not pay.
Appointment Guidelines
Our practice is dedicated to quality care and exceptional service. We respect your time and we work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate the busy scheduling needs of all our patients. In return, we ask that patients make an effort not to change or cancel their dental appointments. If you find you must change an appointment, we require one full business day's notice so that we may accommodate another patient. A charge will be applied for broken or missed appointments without one full business day's notification.
